here's something I did for the the anti twilight club. Note to my Watchers: i can explain. though i'm not a hardcore anti twilighter, I think it could hav been much, much, much better. I think Kathryn reiss is just the person who could have handled it. She has written Pale Phoenix, Time Windows, Paint By Magic, The Glass House People, PaperQuake, Blackthorn Winter, and Sweet Miss Honeywell's revenge, among others. Pale Phoenix is my favorite book. Here's how Twilight would have been different if it had been written by Kathryn Reiss: -shorter (200 something-300-something pages) -an intense climax -lots of baffling clues -vampires and werewolves more along the traditional line, but still possibly unique in some way. -definitely not a book to read before going to bed, and possibly a book to sleep with the lights on. -a twist ending. I'll later make this into a stamp.
im pretty sure it wud have been better no matter who else wrote it...as long as it's not steph meyer. cuz i mean, if other ppl who are worse than her wrote it, at least it would be reli funny, but i hate how she actually made it so bad and serious and not funny AT ALL.
interesting point. I personally thought Twilight(the First book) Was pretty engrossing, but it needed that Kathryn Reiss intende climax. and yes, Twilight was not funny.

I actually never read anything by Kathryn Reiss lol so I won't say anything... But eh, yah the first one i thought was ok while ur at it... even though it's still reli stupid. However I do think Steph Meyer has a real talent of making reli reli stupid things sound like they r deep and sensible...However it reli doesnt take a genius to notice the truth either...lol

I love you. Kathryn Reiss is one of my all-time favorite authors. Stephanie Meyer.... isn't. And that's being nice.
